Boy, there sure has been a lot of things going on since my last blog. First off New York and I got our truck stuck in a muddy creek and had to get it the next day. We had driven over a sketchy bridge and didn't want to drive back over it so we tried the creek. Bad call. The only picture we took during the whole time was of our frozen but beautifully manicured feet.
The spooky house picture was taken just before we got stuck. We dug and dug and stacked rocks to get out but to no avail, we were GOOD AND STUCK for seven hours before our mentor came and got us. We pulled it out with another truck the next day. Then just a few days later we went down to Jarbidge, Nevada to spend a few nights because we could get more work done without having to drive three hours there and three hours back. The town of Jarbidge is straight out of Frontierland at Disneyland.
The last day down there we were all ready to go out in the field and get another five or six points done but we woke up to snow. It was so beautiful and the snowflakes were actually snowflake shape. However, the tread on our tires were not all that great and the roads were slippery so we decided to head back to Twin. Wow, I don't know about driving on these icy roads!
