SNOW!
Boy, there sure has been a lot of things going on since my last blog. First off New York and I got our truck stuck in a muddy creek and had to get it the next day. We had driven over a sketchy bridge and didn't want to drive back over it so we tried the creek. Bad call. The only picture we took during the whole time was of our frozen but beautifully manicured feet. The spooky house picture was taken just before we got stuck. We dug and dug and stacked rocks to get out but to no avail, we were GOOD AND STUCK for seven hours before our mentor came and got us. We pulled it out with another truck the next day. Then just a few days later we went down to Jarbidge, Nevada to spend a few nights because we could get more work done without having to drive three hours there and three hours back. The town of Jarbidge is straight out of Frontierland at Disneyland. The last day down there we were all ready to go out in the field and get another five or six points done but we woke up to snow. It was so beautiful and the snowflakes were actually snowflake shape. However, the tread on our tires were not all that great and the roads were slippery so we decided to head back to Twin. Wow, I don't know about driving on these icy roads!

I sure hope you got the box with all your warm clothes in it. Looks like it came none too soon. That is, if it came yet.
pretty pictures! toes too! Is that a jail sign on that building on the next to last picture?
Yes the sign says Jail and it is the actual Jarbidge Jail. And yes I got the box of warm stuff. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I have to go there and put -gy on the end of that Jail sign.
Did you know that your 432nd visitor was from Australia and 433rd from Japan and 445th from New Zealand? Pretty Cool.
Hey California Girl!!
Watch those cold nights. Keep warm, wear socks, wear vests. Do you need a Thermos for cocoa?
One more try...I wrote a nice long comment yesterday...all about snow and how beautiful it is, along with how ugly it gets and then...I tried to "publish" and it just went away in a whisper. So-o-o-o this is just a test.
Whoopee!! It worked. Of course Kedj was right by my right shoulder all the way.
I looked again at that "haunted house" and am just itching to roll up my sleeves to make something out of it. A real inspiration with that sun room or porch across the front. Guess it's not near anything commercial like a gas station or a restaurant or even a corner store. What?
