Same ol, same ol

Nothing new is going on here but I thought I would stop in to say I still exist here in Idaho. We have 27 points out of 109 to get done then we will be moving on to pygmy rabbit and sage grouse surveys. Maybe I'll get some good pictures for you guys at Thanksgiving in Seattle. Talk to you when I get back. Miss you all very much.:)

We miss you too. We in the southland are having somewhat of a heat wave. It is breaking records right and left. Yesterday reached the 90's. We're planning our Thanksgiving...I've received some Cope's Dried Corn from Lancaster County. Sweet potatoes this year will be mashed with candied sauteed apples. SHAS family is going north to Adelante since the mom and pop do not have to work thanksgiving day. Sadly the trucker has to work in the morning. We pick up our fresh turkey tonight. Kedj made a very good pumpkin parfait Sunday...Vanilla pudding layered with gingerbread, pumpkin puree and whipped cream. Was supposed to be a trifle, but looked pretty in tall goblets. 'S all for now.

Gramma's just mean, I'm going to go curl up in bed with lots of blankets ;)

(And I miss you too! You should visit! ...or something)

I will mail you a plate of turkey, Snickers. Gramma dropped her dentures (if she had any) when she saw the price of the fresh turkey! $1.80 a pound! It will be so good, though. I know...rub it in, rub it in.

Oh, we had turkey, too, with all the fixings--I was just freezing! :)

Though, that pumpkin parfait does sound delicious...did you save me some of THAT?

I've heard of all kinds of bad weather in the Northwest...does that include Idaho? Guess you've had your share of cold and such. I heard N was in town visiting but I did not see nor even hear from her. I'm slowing down and struggling with some onery, pesky cellulitis. Is your mailing address (snail mail) the same?

Ack! Guilt trip!

I barely left Galicia while I was down there, except to do six months worth of the seamstress' bookkeeping...I would have thought for sure Gramma would have heard something of me, though :)
